More Eggs!

Today we went to the egg hunt that is put on by the city of Roswell. Somebunny was very excited:
But before we went, we had to do our chores. These boys LOVE to water:
We were excited that cousin Violet, Uncle Hal, and Aunt Jenn came with us to the egg hunt. Teddy and Violet were so cute:
Teddy did spin art for the first time:

Waiting not-so-patiently for the hunt to start:
And they are off:
Checking out their loot (poor Teddy was disappointed that he did not get any fruit loops this time):
Teddy really wanted to hold Violet's hand while walking:
After we had a picnic lunch, we all went for frozen yogurt. Teddy was making all kinds of funny faces. I said, "Teddy show me your goofy face" and this is what I got:

EGGS part one

When I told Teddy Thursday morning that we were going to Spring Fling and he would get to find eggs, he yelled "YAY" and clapped his hands. He was so excited he ate breakfast with his basket:
Silly boy:
All ready to go:
We got to color before hunting for eggs:
What a difference a year makes! Last year Teddy picked up one or two eggs and spent the entire time playing with them. This year he took off running and quickly filled his basket with eggs:
Teddy and Phoebe gathering eggs:
Teddy had fun getting the eggs, but he REALLY enjoyed eating the yummy "fruit oh's" (as he called them) that were inside many of the eggs. In fact, he sat at the table and ate the fruit loops from every single egg before going to play with his friends on the playground!

After a fun day:
Of course it is not all fun and games around here. We have continued to put Teddy to work in the garden.
And his favorite new task is to help water the plants. He asks Shae every single day if he can go water:
While the boys have been busy in the garden (my allergies have been horrible), I have been busy inside making more cake pops. This time a friend ordered some Minnie Mouse pops for her one year old daughter's birthday party. I think they turned out OK:
Lastly, my little man is becoming such a sweet boy. Just the other day he picked me flowers for the first time:
The next morning not only did he tell me I looked pretty when he saw me in a dress, but as we were eating lunch he looked at me and said, 'Mommy, we gonna be best friends forever." I wish! Funniest thing is I said, "Teddy that is so sweet. Where did you hear that?" and he quickly replied, "On the computer on the Elmo Goes Green video." That's OK, even if he copied it from the video, it still melted my heart!

Animal Time!

We used our zoo pass one more time before it expired. Teddy and his buddies had a great time:
Below: Ella, Brooke, Teddy, and Vanley:
"Roar"
We saw lots of animals but there was only one we got close enough to touch. Mrs. Dhari showed the kids an inchworm:
Pretty pink flamingos:
Here is Teddy with his friends Brooke and Ella.
Last time we all went to the zoo was six months ago. Check out the difference 6 months makes:

Meeting Maverick

Teddy, Shae, and I were all very anxious to get to Nashville to meet the newest little man in the family. Teddy has been talking about going to see baby Maverick for weeks; he randomly would go to his room, get his suitcase, and state, "I'm going to see baby Maverick." So, when the day finally came for us to make the trip, someone was all smiles:
Here he is, the adorable Maverick James:
and his beautiful Mommy:
I couldn't wait to get my hands on the little cutie. I really enjoyed snuggling with him:
We also got to see Grandma Susie and Grandpa Steve. Teddy absolutely loves the amazing new book that Grandma Susie wrote for him. Here she is reading it to him:
Grandpa Steve got a few cuddles in with Maverick as well:
Grandma Susie feeding Maverick:
Sweet boy:
Teddy also had a great time with Aunt Sammie. Here they are patiently waiting for the cool Grow Capsules to change into sponge animals:
And finally Teddy got to hold his new baby cousin:
We picked up lunch on Sunday and enjoyed the warm weather:
The ride back to Aunt Sam's was only about 5 minutes.... but newborns can be exhausting:
Just ask Uncle Shae:
or the new Mommy:
Hanging out at the hotel with my favorite little buddy:
Shae had been sick when we got to Nashville, so he wasn't able to hold Maverick. Thankfully by Monday he was feeling better, and he got to hold his little nephew:
Dr. Shae and Maverick:
While Shae fed Maverick milk, someone else decided he also needed milk:
Oliver explained to Teddy what it is like to get a new baby and become a big brother.
Lastly, I had to include this video of Teddy and Grandpa bonding:
