Not All Fun and Games

Teddy loves to play but he also seems to love to help around the house. He has several "chores" that he helps with now. He loves to help unload the dishwasher and set the table. He also helps me make the beds every morning by putting all of the pillows (we have a lot- ask Shae) on the bed. But by far, his favorite chore is to feed the cat. And he can do it all by himself. Check out his hard work:
(Can't wait till he can mow the yard and vacuum the house!)

Our Little Singer

Our Teddy is full of personality and always makes me laugh. We often listen to music, but I didn't realize how many songs Teddy knows the words to. He has recently started to sing along with the radio (I can flip on the radio and a song from a year ago comes on and all of the sudden he is singing right along with the song). He has also started spontaneously singing songs... and he is not shy about when or where he sings. So I have tried to capture a few of his songs on video. For some reason it is easier for me to post videos as separate blog posts, so I am going to do a few. Here is Teddy singing one of the "classics":

(Thank you to Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bud for the "microphone" prop).

Triple Threat

Not only is Teddy a great singer and an adorably handsome boy, but he also plays a mean guitar. (Good thing I am not biased at all). Oh and I didn't even mention his dancing... Watch out American Idol, or The Voice...

Our Little Country Singer

This is currently one of Teddy's favorite songs:
(Not only did we bring red solo cups to our neighborhood happy hour on Friday, but Teddy "performed" this song several times for everyone while we were there. He is such a ham!)

Catch up time again....

I am so behind on posting on this blog. Rather than make excuses, I am just going to put up some random pictures we have taken.
Catch Air is one of Teddy's favorite places to go and here is one of his favorite parts:
And here is a picture of Teddy after spending all morning there (you will see why it is also one of my favorite places):
Grandpa Steve came to visit us a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, at the time we had misplaced our camera. So we only have a few pictures taken on Shae's phone. We had a great time visiting with Grandpa, and Teddy got some pointers on his t-ball game (mostly he learned to "Watch the ball" and that "You can't play t-ball in the dark!")
After all that ball, the boys worked up an appetite. Pudding time:
Shae recently brought home a small basketball net and ball and it has quickly become Teddy's favorite thing (besides t-ball) to do:
Grandma Susie came to visit us last weekend and we had a blast with her. Again, Teddy got some practice at t-ball (although Grandma says you CAN play t-ball in the dark...)
Grandma spoiled Teddy and he loved every minute of it. He even got her to lay down in his bed with her for a story:
On Sat. morning I attempted to go for a walk. I barely made it to the end of the road before I turned around and came home... it must have been barely 40 degrees out. For this GA girl, that is too cold! So I came home and did yoga instead. I had some friends join me:
Teddy is not the only one Grandma Susie spoiled. Kashewa enjoyed her visit as well:
Teddy also conned Grandma into spending hours in his fire truck.
This is one of my favorite pictures:
For Valentine's Day we made cookies and Teddy carefully helped decorate them. It took him about 7 minutes before he started eating the decorations (which was about 7 minutes longer than I thought it would take):
Grandma helped too:
Teddy got this adorable dog from Aunt Sara. He named it "Ralph" and has been carrying him around with him everywhere since he opened him:
Teddy was so happy to spend Valentine's Day with Grandma (and friends):
Teddy also got this adorable flower from Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bud. Silly boy walked around all day looking at it and saying, "I love you flower!"
Teddy and I packed a lunch and went to visit Shae at work on Valentine's Day. Last year it was so nice we got to eat outside. This year, it was wet and cold. So we crashed my Dad's office and ate there. Here's Teddy with our pink and red lunch (and Ralph of course):
I am so lucky to have these two guys as my valentines!!!!
Since we were in the office, Shae thought it was never too early to get Teddy interested in engineering. As my Dad says, Teddy just may be an engineer one day:
Although I got several treats for Valentine's Day, the BEST gift was this:
Shae got to change the after-lunch-diaper! Then we headed to Shae's office so we could see his new standing desk. Very cool and he set it all up himself:
One more picture of my funny little man. As you can tell, he absolutely loves to hit t-balls. We spend a lot of time in the backyard either hitting balls or "shooting baskets." The other day, right in the middle of hitting, Teddy stopped to answer his bat saying, "Hello. I am hitting a home run!" I love this boy!
