Not only is Teddy 16 months old, but he is on the move! And I thought these pictures were difficult to capture when he started crawling....

Here are some more of our "out-takes":

Teddy continues to be more and more fun every day. He talks all the time and surprises me daily by copying new words he has heard. The other day he pointed to a picture of his cousin Caroline and said her name! And at playgroup he pointed to his buddy Daniel and said his name too. He also recently said his first sentence when he pointed and said, "It's my ball." (It was in fact NOT his ball... but I was nonetheless proud). His favorite things to say seem to be "
mamma" "more" "ball" and "no" and he loves to say "bye" and to blow kisses. He also has become very attached to two small stuffed teddy bears, and recently does not want to leave the house with out taking them with him. He calls them his babies, and actually he refers to all stuff bears as "baby." It is very cute! Teddy also really enjoys having books read to him, and his favorite (or at least my favorite to read) is The Monster at the End of the Book. He also still loves playing with any kind of balls. He loves to copy whatever he sees us doing (sweeping, brushing hair, blowing on food that is hot, etc) and for the moment he seems to enjoy putting things away (I am loving that!) He has helped Shae with a lot of the planting in our yard this Spring, and he has recently started enjoying the benefits of our garden. He is a big fan so far of our radishes, strawberries, and peas!

Last week we got to have a special guest spend the night. Teddy's cousin Jack slept over while his sister was still in the hospital and we had a great time with our guest. Teddy followed Jack everywhere and had a great time with him.
Teddy watched with envy as Shae and Jack shot some baskets. Poor Teddy... it was his nap time:
