I am once again very behind on posting. Before I get to actual Thanksgiving, here are some random picture. Teddy LOVES his teddy bear slippers. He wants to wear them ALL the time and he wears them with just about anything:

My mom babysat for Teddy and when I got home, this what I found:

SO sweet!
One morning, as soon as he woke up, Teddy went to his room, took out his Elmo costume, and asked to wear it. So here he is, in November, at breakfast time, all dressed up:

We found an easy and fun activity that is great for cold/rainy days. Home-made play dough:

Of course he immediately asked me to make his friends "Cookie, Elmo, and Grouch."

We were happy to celebrate Grandpa Bud's birthday. There sure were a lot of candles on his cake:

Sixty nine and he just ran his first half marathon. Looking good Grandpa!

Teddy loves celebrations!

OK...now for Thanksgiving. We were excited to host this year at our house. My sister in law wanted to bring the turkey- so that freed us up to make the sides. I made my own version of turkey though:

Mmm turkey cake pops- for the vegetarians at Thanksgiving!

Shae helped out and made several sides and pies:

Thanksgiving morning:

Here is the other turkey I prepared...again vegetarian friendly. (These are the ONLY kinds of turkeys you will ever find me preparing!)

Before we eat, we always go around the room and say what we are thankful for:

Teddy and Violet listened carefully:

Sweet Maggie wrote down a "speech" to read. It was absolutely adorable- she thanked us all for everything we do for her and for taking such good care of her. It was precious.

The kids table:

COUSINS:

Uncle Hal gave juggling lessons to Jack while Teddy watched:

We also had birthday cake for Grandpa Bud (because 5 pies and 45 cakes pops weren't enough)

The poor cake had a rough trip here.
Here is one thing I am thankful for this year:

Maggie and her cake pop:

Teddy and cousin Violet brushed their teeth together:

Shae, Teddy, and I were excited to go to the mountain house for the weekend with my parents. We drove up there Friday morning. Unfortunately, Grandma Judy fell down the stairs and broke some ribs right after we got there. Thankfully she is healing and improving daily.

Grandpa stepped in and cooked the pancakes for us in the morning:

They were yummy! Teddy enjoyed taking a bath in the mountain house:

He loved "driving" at the playground in Blairesville:

This slide was big enough for all three of us:

I think Teddy had a good time at the playground. The drive back to the house was only about 10 minutes but check Teddy out when we got back:

(Notice his hand in the snack cup!)
Teddy also had a great time shooting hoops:

But mostly we all enjoyed lounging around:

and eating:

and did I mention lounging around:

When we got back home, Teddy and I got to go meet a very sweet and brand new baby. I immediately fell in love with my friend Kimberly's little girl- Stella Rose:

We hope everyone had a healthy and happy Thanksgiving!
